Last weekend was Thanksgiving here in Canada and my brother-in-law was getting remarried in Ottawa. We drove Friday and returned Sunday. When we returned, it looked like there had been a major frost because suddenly, the marigolds looked as though they were dying. How sad.
The wedding was first class all the way. The ceremony and reception were held at the same “Signature” cordon bleu establishment. There were only 50 family and friends to watch two lonely people become one happy couple. It was so beautiful from start to finish.
But I digress.
I still have to pull the last of the marigolds out and burn them. Then I will plant tulips, clean the porch, wash the walls and windows and carve the pumpkin in readiness for Halloween.
